By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable international copyright principles and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Platform operates.

3. Nature of the Platform

Libretha is an online hosting platform that provides infrastructure for user-generated content.

The Platform:

• does not act as a publisher or editor
• does not pre-screen all uploaded content
• does not claim ownership over user content
• acts solely as a passive intermediary service provider

4. User Responsibility

By uploading, posting, or distributing any content on Libretha, the user explicitly agrees that:

• they are fully responsible for ensuring that all uploaded content complies with applicable laws and regulations
• they have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to distribute such content
• they agree to comply with all Platform rules, Content Policy, and Copyright Policy
• they understand that violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination

The Platform reserves the right to enforce these rules at its sole discretion.

Libretha does not assume responsibility for user compliance with these obligations and acts solely as a hosting intermediary service provider.

5. Intellectual Property Compliance

Libretha respects intellectual property rights and expects all users to do the same.

Uploading copyrighted content without proper authorization is strictly prohibited.

6. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly forbidden:

• pirated manga, novels, books, or translations
• unauthorized reproductions of copyrighted works
• stolen or illegally distributed material
• any content that violates applicable intellectual property laws

7. Content Removal Policy

The Platform reserves the right to:

• remove or disable access to any content
• suspend or terminate user accounts
• take action upon receipt of a valid copyright complaint

Content may be removed without prior notice in cases of clear or repeated violations.

8. Repeat Infringement Policy

Users who repeatedly violate intellectual property rights may be subject to:

• temporary suspension
• permanent account termination
• IP or access restrictions

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Libretha shall not be liable for:

• user-generated content
• copyright violations committed by users
• damages resulting from content uploaded by users
• indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

10. Changes to Terms

Libretha reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
