This policy explains what data Libretha collects when you use the website libretha.com and the Libretha app, why, and what you can do about it. In short: we collect only what the platform needs to work, we do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and you can delete your account at any time.
Libretha ("we", "us") is a platform for reading and publishing manga, manhwa, manhua and novels. It is run by an independent developer, who is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy. Contact: librethasupport@gmail.com.
We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising and do not show ads on Libretha.
Your display name, avatar, bio and the other profile details you add, your reading stats (chapters read and reading time), achievements, follower counts, comments and the works you publish are visible to other users. Your email address is never shown.

The Google Analytics script is loaded on every page so that Google can verify the tag is installed, but it stays switched off until you allow analytics: while it is off it sets no cookies and sends no data, and your browser contacts Google only to download the file itself. You can change your choice at any time via Cookies at the bottom of every page.These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Some of them are based outside your country, including in the United States, so your data may be processed there.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: we erase your account, profile, reading history, lists, likes, ratings, votes, follows, blocks, achievements, the reports you filed, and the works you published together with their files.
If other people replied to one of your comments, that comment stays in the thread without your name and text, shown as "Comment deleted", so their replies keep their context. All your other comments are erased.
You can also request deletion of your data, or ask anything about it, by writing to librethasupport@gmail.com. We will review your request and reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy of it, withdraw your consent, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, write to librethasupport@gmail.com.
Libretha is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Mature content is available only to users who confirm they are 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
Passwords and sign-in tokens are stored only as one-way hashes, and traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Libretha is a free service provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for content posted by users, for the practices of the third-party services listed in section 6, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. See also section 9 of the Terms of Service. Nothing in this policy limits the rights you have under data protection law.
We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
